Top 10 Upcoming Games 2016

The last month of 2015, December is already up and running. So, after a month, it will be 2016 and another year of exciting games. Here are my personal Top 10 Games of the year 2016. I might also be making another list with more games. Something like more games to watch for in 2016.

10. Quantum Break

Quantum Break is a 3rd person shooter game developed by Remedy Entertainment exclusively for the Xbox One. After a time travelling experiment gone wrong, three people discover they have the ability to manipulate time. There's also an in-game show which is influenced by the decisions you make in the game. You can also watch the show for useful strategies.
Release: 5th April, 2016.

9. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

The game follows the story after Human Revolution. In the prequel, many people are killed as they get mechanically augmented and become outcasts. In the game, we see that though the augmentation's finished, criminal activities are still prevalent. The game is available for pre-order for $59.99. It will be released on major platforms on 23rd February, 2016.
Release: 23rd February, 2016.

8. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is last game in the series, sequel to the widely-popular Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. The game continues the story where it's prequel left but is set after 3 years. The games are known for their gameplay and great storyline. The game is PS4 exclusive.
Release: 18th March, 2016.

7. Dark Souls 3

The third game in the critically-acclaimed video game franchise. Dark Souls 3 follows the same game design as it's predecessor Dark Souls 2. The series is famous for it's difficulty and many people play the game just because of that. Me? I'm gonna watch others play :p The game will be released on major platforms.
Release: 24th March, 2016.

6. Mirror's Edge: Catalyst

The new Mirror's Edge game is generating a lot of buzz among the gaming circles. The original game enchanted folks with it's unique gameplay and more of that free-running(pardon if I get it wrong) is expected) from the sequel.
Release: 24th May, 2016.

5. Fable Legends

Fable legend is an upcoming cooperative RPG being developed by Lionhead Studios for the Microsoft Xbox and Windows platforms. The game is much-awaited and is the latest installment in the Fable series. The game is based around four heroes and one villain. Each role can be taken up by either players or the AI itself.
Release: TBC 2016

4. Doom

Doom is the classic multiplayer shooter almost every gamer has heard of. If you are an avid gamer and haven't, you've been hiding under the rock for long enough. The game is getting a reboot and frankly, it looks badass! The game will be on the next-gen consoles and the PC.
Release: Spring 2016

3. Far Cry: Primal

The top 5 has been confusing and the games could be interreplaced in their positions. Far Cry: Primal takes place in the Stone Age which means you aren't going to get the same feel as Far Cry 3 or 4.  It's going to be even more exciting. Prepare to face sabretooths, mammoths and the like, from close. It surely is going to be a fine experience.
Release: 23rd February, 2016 on Xbox One and PS4 and March 2016 for the PC

2. Tom Clancy's The Division

Tom Clancy's The Division is an open-world, third-person shooter game being developed by Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Massive, Ubisoft Reflections and Red Storm Entertainment. The game is set in New York after a virus wrecked havoc there and we, the player, have to discover the source of the virus and finish it so that the city can be restored. Players can team with other players too. This game is going to be the first of it's kind from Ubisoft. Cool.
Release: 8th March, 2016.

1. Horizon: Zero Dawn

Well, for me the best of the pack is Horizon: Zero Dawn, a Playstation exclusive being developed by Guerrila Games. The game is set 1000 years in the future with robotic creature who have conquered the planet. We will play as Aloy, the heroine of the game who wields a bow and has many cool arrows. Ooh, pointy! She can also make use of the parts of the big robots.

So that concludes the list. Tell me what you think of it and what games are you looking forward to playing in 2016. Thanks!

PSP digital operations are being shut down

Hmm, the time has come. The ultra-popular PSP's gotta go. It has been announced that the PSP will end software sales and the UMD passport program will end too, on 31st March, 2016. You'll still be able to re-download and download and transfer from other platforms though.

I'm sure of one thing-it will be sorely missed. Let's just hope there are better portable consoles from Sony in store for us. It would be a good time for Vita's replacement.

Check out the hompage too.

Rise of Tomb Raider 5 Beginners Tips

Rise of Tomb Raider came out some time ago and has become a popular hit among gamers already. Today I'll be sharing with you  game tips, tricks and hints for people new to the game.

1. Skill Points
Each time you level up, you gain a skill point to spend and learn a new skill. Skills are essential for progressing through the game and the game offers three categories for your playing style- Brawler, Hunter and Survivor.
Brawler might sound cool but it isn't as cool as it looks. Try and go for the other two styles, they are quite better.
You can look up online guides for better understanding of the skill tree and various skills.

2. Survival Instinct
Survival Instinct is the Eagle Eye Vision version of the game. Activating this feature highlights stuff like relics, documents, etc. while also providing helpful hints. Pay close attention, this feature also shows the enemies in red and yellow. If you kill an enemy highlighted in red, you draw the attention of other enemies too. Also, S.I. shows you traveling options such as ledges and passageways. Great thing-survival instinct.

3. Talk to folks
You should always talk to the people who are pointed by the game as they offer side quests which, in turn, yield unique items. Unique items mean you get stronger and it helps you later on. You get the point. They also offer experience and skills.

4. Go back to base camps often
Go back to the base camps to change gears and outfits before you head out to the red areas. That's the only place where you can do that stuff. You wouldn't want to be caught having the wrong equipment for the wrong situation, would you?

5. Pick up all the materials
Do not leave the pelts, wood and feathers thinking you got enough. Always collect them as they really help you. You can craft while stuck in combat which can be quite crucial to the output of the fight.

Hope these five tips helped you. Do tell me what you think of 'em and if you got any suggestions. :)

Samsung announces next generation SoC-Exynos 8890

Samsung, the South Korean multinational conglomerate giants, have unveiled their latest flagship SoC, the octa core Exynos 8890.
The announcement was surprising for some, while for some it was not, as some people definitely as they felt that the current Exynos 7720 was starting to age. The SoC is octa core running on the latest Mali, the Mali-T880. Expect crispier graphics and better performance on those hardcore games.

Samsung has introduced it's own core segment into the SoC. Earlier, it was using the widely popular ARM custom segment.

The Exynos 8890 is arranged in 4+4 CPU clusters. Samsung has used the A53 in the smaller cluster and four of it's custom cores in the bigger one. It is being said by the company to be 30% powerful and 10% efficient than the previous generation.

Personally, I'm quite excited for this thing, but it's sure to be quite expensive. I'm okay to seeing this chip in action on YouTube. Anyways, thanks for hanging out, do press the share button on your way out or check out other posts. Thanks folks.
