Samsung announces next generation SoC-Exynos 8890

Samsung, the South Korean multinational conglomerate giants, have unveiled their latest flagship SoC, the octa core Exynos 8890.
The announcement was surprising for some, while for some it was not, as some people definitely as they felt that the current Exynos 7720 was starting to age. The SoC is octa core running on the latest Mali, the Mali-T880. Expect crispier graphics and better performance on those hardcore games.

Samsung has introduced it's own core segment into the SoC. Earlier, it was using the widely popular ARM custom segment.

The Exynos 8890 is arranged in 4+4 CPU clusters. Samsung has used the A53 in the smaller cluster and four of it's custom cores in the bigger one. It is being said by the company to be 30% powerful and 10% efficient than the previous generation.

Personally, I'm quite excited for this thing, but it's sure to be quite expensive. I'm okay to seeing this chip in action on YouTube. Anyways, thanks for hanging out, do press the share button on your way out or check out other posts. Thanks folks.
