PSP digital operations are being shut down

Hmm, the time has come. The ultra-popular PSP's gotta go. It has been announced that the PSP will end software sales and the UMD passport program will end too, on 31st March, 2016. You'll still be able to re-download and download and transfer from other platforms though.

I'm sure of one thing-it will be sorely missed. Let's just hope there are better portable consoles from Sony in store for us. It would be a good time for Vita's replacement.

Check out the hompage too.

Rise of Tomb Raider 5 Beginners Tips

Rise of Tomb Raider came out some time ago and has become a popular hit among gamers already. Today I'll be sharing with you  game tips, tricks and hints for people new to the game.

1. Skill Points
Each time you level up, you gain a skill point to spend and learn a new skill. Skills are essential for progressing through the game and the game offers three categories for your playing style- Brawler, Hunter and Survivor.
Brawler might sound cool but it isn't as cool as it looks. Try and go for the other two styles, they are quite better.
You can look up online guides for better understanding of the skill tree and various skills.

2. Survival Instinct
Survival Instinct is the Eagle Eye Vision version of the game. Activating this feature highlights stuff like relics, documents, etc. while also providing helpful hints. Pay close attention, this feature also shows the enemies in red and yellow. If you kill an enemy highlighted in red, you draw the attention of other enemies too. Also, S.I. shows you traveling options such as ledges and passageways. Great thing-survival instinct.

3. Talk to folks
You should always talk to the people who are pointed by the game as they offer side quests which, in turn, yield unique items. Unique items mean you get stronger and it helps you later on. You get the point. They also offer experience and skills.

4. Go back to base camps often
Go back to the base camps to change gears and outfits before you head out to the red areas. That's the only place where you can do that stuff. You wouldn't want to be caught having the wrong equipment for the wrong situation, would you?

5. Pick up all the materials
Do not leave the pelts, wood and feathers thinking you got enough. Always collect them as they really help you. You can craft while stuck in combat which can be quite crucial to the output of the fight.

Hope these five tips helped you. Do tell me what you think of 'em and if you got any suggestions. :)

Samsung announces next generation SoC-Exynos 8890

Samsung, the South Korean multinational conglomerate giants, have unveiled their latest flagship SoC, the octa core Exynos 8890.
The announcement was surprising for some, while for some it was not, as some people definitely as they felt that the current Exynos 7720 was starting to age. The SoC is octa core running on the latest Mali, the Mali-T880. Expect crispier graphics and better performance on those hardcore games.

Samsung has introduced it's own core segment into the SoC. Earlier, it was using the widely popular ARM custom segment.

The Exynos 8890 is arranged in 4+4 CPU clusters. Samsung has used the A53 in the smaller cluster and four of it's custom cores in the bigger one. It is being said by the company to be 30% powerful and 10% efficient than the previous generation.

Personally, I'm quite excited for this thing, but it's sure to be quite expensive. I'm okay to seeing this chip in action on YouTube. Anyways, thanks for hanging out, do press the share button on your way out or check out other posts. Thanks folks.
